SIYA DIGITEX is redefining luxury by integrating a Multi-Effect Evaporator (MEE) and Agitated Thin Film Dryer (ATFD) system to achieve 100% Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) across both our reactive and pigment digital printing lines.

Beyond Pigment: The 100% ZLD Engineering Milestone

While our pigment printing processes naturally require no water-intensive washing cycles, our premium reactive digital printing lines require careful washing to lock in unmatched vibrancy. To protect India's local rivers, we closed the loop entirely. We have deployed an integrated MEE + ATFD thermal water reclamation facility, transitioning our entire mill into a true 100% Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) closed-loop ecosystem.

How We Close the Loop: The Technology

Our advanced infrastructure systematically isolates and eliminates liquid impurities through two thermal stages:

1. Multi-Effect Evaporator (MEE): We collect the washing rinse water from our high-precision printing lines. Through sequential vacuum boiling stages, the bulk volume of the effluent is vaporised, recovering up to 95% as pristine, high-purity distillate water. This pure water is channeled directly back into our next print cycle washes.

2. Agitated Thin Film Dryer (ATFD): The highly concentrated residue left by the MEE is routed to the ATFD. This stage strips away the final remaining moisture fractions, turning hazardous fluid waste into completely dry, manageable salt cakes for responsible disposal.

  • 100% Recycled Process Water: Virtually every drop of water utilised in our facility stays inside the mill, shielding local municipal aquifers from industrial stress.
  • Zero Effluent Runoff: Absolutely no fluid discharge ever breaches our boundary walls, rendering traditional, underperforming biological aeration setups obsolete.
  • Preserved Ink Integrity: Isolating the chemical waste allows us to safely handle premium European and Japanese inks while keeping dangerous trace elements entirely out of the local biosphere.
